A Writing Project
Tales of worlds where magic dwells in the leaves of trees,
and roads lead where no foot has ever trodden.
A fantasy story is taking shape here — still unnamed, but already with a character of its own. A world where magic does not roar with thunder or blaze with lightning, but lives quietly: in the scent of old books, in the rustle of the forest at dawn, in words spoken softly at dusk.
My name is Alex Steiger. I write because these worlds have nowhere else to go — they accumulate and demand release. I love light fantasy: real adventures, vivid characters, and the feeling that something good is always waiting just around the corner.
The setting is a land without maps — where forests grow older than memory and the boundaries between the natural and the magical have long since blurred. Every village has its own forgotten myth, and every road eventually leads somewhere unexpected.
This project is written slowly and with care. No chapter goes out until it feels right. The goal is not speed but atmosphere — the kind of story you return to not for plot twists, but for the feeling of being somewhere else entirely.
Questions about the project, the world, or the writing process — all welcome.
